14 Mar National Junior League results

This season’s National Junior League concluded with a final day’s play at Ellenborough on Saturday 25th of February. Fusion had entered one team in Division 1 and two teams in Division 2, all of whom picked up quite a few wins over the course of the season and displayed excellent team spirit throughout.

Fusion 1 in Division 1 was already guaranteed to finish mid-table before the last match day and 2 losses and 1 win left them in 4th place with an even record of 7 wins and 7 losses overall. While everyone in the team managed to score quite a few wins, the standout performer for the team was Joshua Bruce who got 12 wins out of 18 overall afer moving up from the second team half-way through the season.

In Division 2, Fusion 2 achieved a very good 2nd place with 9 wins and 5 losses behind runaway winners Mossford B. Ivan Berdnikov, Elliot Namato and Joshua Bruce all won more than 80% of their matches during the season.

Fusion 3 achieved 6 wins and 8 losses, leaving them in 6th place overall, despite fielding a very young team throughout the competition. Some of their players moved up to Fusion 2 during the season and it is testament to their considerable improvement during the season that they all achieved better averages later on.
