Fusion Vital in Central London’s Rose Bowl Success

16 Jun Fusion Vital in Central London’s Rose Bowl Success

Fusion players had a successful outing in the senior categories of this year’s English Leagues Cup Competitions a tournament that continues to grow and attract bigger names. Fusion players – siblings Jamal and Tiana Dennison – played vital roles in Central London’s placements in the men and women’s at the event hosted at Westfield TTC in Wellingborough on 9/10th June 2018.

The Rose Bowl was up for grabs for the winner of the senior women’s event at the tournament. Tiana Dennison along with Jane Ji saw off competition to reach the finals in the senior women’s event, where they fought Rachel Baker, Annie Hudson and Paulina Orzechowska representing Warrington – a tough match given that Baker was yet to lose. The Central London pair kept their cool though and ended up with top place – another excellent result to add to Fusion women’s fine form in recent tournaments.

Rose Bowl victory for Tiana      Dennison and Jane Ji

In the senior men’s event, Central London’s team couldn’t quite top their group as the women had done and found themselves in the match for bronze. Jamal Dennison, Emil Erekov and Joshua Nameed fought a London derby against Wembley and Harrow. After some tough matches however it was Central London who emerged as victors and were delighted with their medals to add to their trophy case.

Another strong display from Fusion, whose players continue to shine on all occasions.

Shared success for Central London at the podium
