About Fusion TTC

Fusion Table Tennis Club is a local community sports club that provides a fun and welcoming environment for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.

Fusion TTC

Established twenty five years ago in South London, we have become one of the largest table tennis clubs in London and the South East, regularly attracting over sixty players to our most popular session on a Saturday.
In April, we moved into new premises in South Bermondsey and are excited to have our own venue. We can now open 24 hours 7 days a week! Although we are not quite ready for that yet, we now have fourteen permanently erected tables and are in a position to offer additional practice and coaching sessions as well as being able to host tournaments and events.
Fusion TTC is run by an executive committee, supported by a group of dedicated volunteers. We all work together to ensure the best facilities are available not just for our members, but also for anyone who wants to come and play at a club we all feel passionate about.
We are an inner London club and believe that table tennis is an opportunity to provide a fun yet structured environment which promotes health and well-being for young players and should be available to all.
We’re proud to be an ETTA PremierClub, and to have been awarded Sports England Clubmark status. But we don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we always aim to ensure we provide a relaxed, family atmosphere. We organise a range of fun social events for both kids and grown-ups, and our annual summer picnic and Christmas party are always keenly anticipated! We feel this creates a great team spirit which is evident when seeing our players, coaches and parents support each other at tournaments and in other competitive environments.

Our Aim

Table Tennis or ‘Ping Pong’ as it is widely known by the public has seen a revival in the last few years and is now regarded as the trendy sport to play. We want to take advantage of this popularity to attract new and especially young players.
Our main aim is aligned with the London 2012 Olympic legacy of ‘encouraging participation of sport in schools and the wider community which will contribute to continuing elite success’. We have taken steps to achieve this by bringing in a new Head Coach, an ex-Dutch national coach, and have already implemented a new coaching programme which we also hope to roll out to local schools this year. A future Olympic star could be on our doorstep!
Table Tennis in England is moving into a modern era and so are we! Our aim is to be the best club, with state-of-the-art facilities, whose fresh approach and modern ideas are responsible for producing the best players in the country. We want to leave our own legacy of ‘continuing to provide a community club that is open and welcome to all, regardless of age, ability or background and promotes health and well-being for many years to come’.
